Bit Crusher

Pixel Cat is our playful, lo-fi crusher with a twist of springy space. It chews your audio into pixelated grit, then washes it through a lively spring reverb for a mix of retro crunch and dreamy depth. Whether you want subtle vintage character or total 8-bit chaos, Pixel Cat delivers textures that purr, scratch, and roar. Perfect for drums, synths, guitars, or anything that needs a dose of lo-fi magic.

Controls

Features

Spring
Controls the amount of spring reverb, from subtle slapback reflections to cavernous, bouncy echoes.
Bits
Sets the bit depth, lowering it introduces digital distortion and noise reminiscent of old-school samplers and consoles.
Rate
Controls the sample rate reduction, from clean signal down to gritty digital aliasing. Slow it down for crunchy textures or crank it for extreme pixelation.
Drive
Pushes the signal harder into saturation, adding warmth, grit, and harmonic richness before the bit reduction stage.
Tone
A simple filter to shape your sound. Roll off highs for darker, muffled textures or open it up for sharper, brighter edges.
IN / OUT Sliders
Fast gain staging on the sides for clean or driven ambience.
Blend
Controls the mix between the wet signal and the original dry signal.
Auto Gain
Keeps levels even as you crank the input / output knob.
