AI-powered chain builder for real music production workflows
Type what you want, record audio into it, or combine both. Ask for a warmer vocal, a wider synth, a vintage guitar tone, a tighter drum bus, or a full mix chain — Meaw:Chain builds a plugin chain using the plugins you already own. Works with Safari plugins, third-party plugins, or a combination of both, powered by the Safari-developed Meaw model.
Setup
Installation
Mac
Open the .pkg installer.
Accept the license agreement.
Choose your plugin formats (VST3, AU and/or AAX).
Click Continue, enter your password and install.
Windows
Open the .exe installer.
Accept the license agreement.
Choose your plugin formats (VST3 and/or AAX).
Click Next → Install.
Activation
Registration
When you open the plugin for the first time, you will see the registration screen. An internet connection is required to activate and run the plugin.
Subscription
Includes all current and future plugins. Once activated, any new plugin you download will work without requiring additional authorization.
Perpetual License
Gives you lifetime access to the plugins you purchased. Does not include future plugin releases.
Start a Trial or Register
If you haven't purchased a license yet, click Activate Demo to begin your free 14-day evaluation. Once the demo ends, the plugin interface and processing will be disabled until a valid license is entered. If you already have a license key, enter it and click Activate.
Too Many Devices?
If you've reached the limit of 4 devices, you'll need to deactivate one of your previous activations. You can manage your devices in the registration screen to remove an older device and free up a spot.

Before You Start
When you first open Meaw:Chain, type in your name so Meaw can address you by name, then answer a few quick questions so Meaw can personalise your experience.

Open the plugin in a larger view for more precise control and fine tuning.
Erase
Remove all plugins from your current chain in one click.
Undo / Redo
Step backward or forward through your actions to fix mistakes or explore changes.
+ Add Plugin
Open your plugin list organised by category to manually add any plugin to the chain. Use the search bar at the top to find a specific plugin quickly.
Global Controls
Input
Set the input level entering your chain.
Blend
Control parallel processing by mixing the dry and wet signal to taste.
Output
Set the final output level of the chain.
On / Off
Bypass or activate the entire chain at once.
Auto Gain
Automatically match volume so your chain doesn't change perceived loudness.
AI Chat
Chat — Chain It
Ask Meaw to build a plugin chain for any tone or idea you have. Works with Safari plugins, third-party plugins, or a combination of both.
Text Input
Type your request — "warmer vocal", "vintage guitar tone", "tight drum bus" — and Meaw suggests a complete chain.
Works with Audio
Play, record, or loop your track for real-time suggestions. Drag and drop audio files for analysis. Record at least 10 seconds (Space to start/stop). Don't close the UI while Meaw is analysing.
History
Browse your previous chats and revisit past chains from the History menu.

Start a new conversation with a clean slate.
Collapse
Summarise your chat and display only the generated presets without the conversation text.
Save
Quickly save created chains as presets for later use.
Settings
Preferences
Access Preferences via the Preferences button in the plugin interface to customise Meaw:Chain settings.
Rescan
Trigger a new scan of your plugin folders to pick up newly installed plugins.
Format Selection
Enable or disable Audio Units, VST3, or AAX formats to match your DAW.
Custom Folder
Add a custom plugin folder path for plugins installed outside the standard location.
De-Select Plugins
Remove specific plugins from the Meaw:Chain list without uninstalling them from your system.
